About the Rosalind Bridesmaid Slip Dress
We designed the Rosalind for the part of the wedding where the bridesmaids need to move easily, walk down an aisle, sit through a ceremony, and dance later without adjusting straps all night. The silk satin we use is lighter in weight than our column gowns, cut close through the body and finished with narrow straps that sit flat on the shoulder. A single layer of Italian tulle sits under the skirt, just enough to keep the silk from clinging in humid weather or under photography lights. We cut every dress from the same pattern within a size, so five bridesmaids in five different sizes still look like they are wearing the same dress, not five slightly different interpretations of it.
